The death toll caused by earthquake is more than 34,000 and looks set to rise in the disaster area- SiChuan. 50,000 people were thought to remain buried.
The Chinese Students & Scholars Association (CSSA) at Queen Mary and Mother Bridge of Love (MBL) are launching joint earthquake appeal, calling for help and donations to the affected children.
Donations will be collected:

Chinese cultural items will be also on sale for raising money. People who have made their contributions will receive free gifts too (we apologize if these gifts have run out, as their numbers are limited).
Your donation will be sent to the dedicated earthquake relief account of China Education Development Foundation (CEDF). Money will be used on children and orphanages in the disaster area specifically. Proof of bank account transfer will be posted on www.qmcn.org to assure you that your contribution has gone to the right hands.
